Assistance may include: job training, job placement, applying for benefits, budgeting and other educational classes, counseling, social activities, transportation, etc. The program, typically, up to two years in length, provides support services on daily basis. The agency currently has five homes and three apartments dedicated to this unique program that house a maximum of twenty-nine Veterans.
Our Victory Village Complex, located in Titusville, provides 10 housing units for permanently disabled veterans. This tranquil setting allows our disabled veterans to enjoy their daily activities without concern of external stress that may disrupt they ability to remain in a stable environment. The level of support is less intense than in our Veterans Administration transitional support program. However, the case management and program plans are designed to meet the needs of each individual veteran as their needs change.
Our Tropic Hammock complex is a unique facility, also located in Titusville. This nine-unit complex is designed to allow veterans, who are disabled, to live with their families in affordable housing. The focus of the program is on family needs and integration. The case management support is designed to meet the needs of the entire family unit.
